IPod Classic 6th Gen 80GB and iPad Mini 2013 not detected in iTunes 12.8 for Windows Apparently, my dad accidentally installed iTunes 12.8 on his computer and when he hooks up the iPod Classic 80GB, or the iPad Mini 2013, iTunes won't detect them any longer. Which version is exactly the cut off support for iPod Classic on Windows?.If there is no better solution, so what is the recommended version to use here?.Some people also claim that, just install the older version of iTunes for your iPod Classic. However, upon opening iTunes, nothing freeze, just iTunes open up with blank initial start screen. It shows up in Explorer as an external drive. On Windows (which ever version), the Windows recognized iPod just fine. IPod classic works fine in Finder and Music.
